Membership of the Community Association

Ordinary Member

Those individuals aged 18 and over who:
(a) are ordinarily resident in the Community; and
(b) are entitled to vote at a local government election in a polling district that includes the Community or part of it; and
(c) who support the Purposes of the Association;
If an Ordinary Member ceases to comply with these criteria, he or she will be reclassified as an Associate Member and be notified of this.

The Association has been formed to benefit the community defined by the postcode units PH12 8RB, PH12 8RD, PH12 8RE, PH12 8SH, PH12 8SJ, PH12 8SL, PH12 8QS, PH12 8QT, DD8 1SD, DD8 1SE, DD8 1SF, DD8 1SG, DD8 1SH, DD8 1SJ, DD8 1SL, DD8 1SN, DD8 1SP, DD8 1SQ, DD8 1SR, DD8 1ST, DD8 1SU, DD8 1SX, DD8 1SY, DD8 1SZ. Residents with any of these postal codes are eligible for membership.

Associate Members

Those individuals who are not ordinarily resident in the Community and those Organisations wherever located that support the Purposes of the Association. Associate Members are neither eligible to stand for election to the Board nor to vote at any General Meeting. Each member which is an Organisation shall appoint one named Authorised Representative to represent and act for such member at all General Meetings. Any change in the appointment of an Authorised Representative may be made at any time by the appointing member, but only by written notice to the Company. Such notice will take effect upon its receipt by the Company.

Junior Members

Those individuals who are aged between 12 and 17 who support the Purposes of the Association. Junior Members are neither eligible to stand for election to the Board nor to vote at any General Meeting.
